Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral - Catholic church in the Tashkent city, located on the street Sadiq Asimov. It is more popularly known as the Polish church. Graceful impressive temple is relatively young, as it was built in the early twentieth century. The building’s architecture amazes with its grandeur. The temple is decorated with stained glass windows, small towers on the roof, arched gates. At the top of the temple the bell tower is located, and the bell rang for half an hour before the service and during the service on public holidays. Stepped over the threshold, you find yourself in the small hall. To the left of the hall there is a room of John Paul the Second, where service takes place on Wednesdays. Near the hall there is John Paul the Second library. To the right of the hall there is a room of St. Anthony, which is often used for presentations. But the heart of the temple is on the second floor – the main hall, or hall of ascension. It is intended for a Sunday solemn service. Hall is decorated with the beautiful stained glass windows, and in the center of the room, a bronze statue of Jesus is placed. On the right side of the hall is a small confessional room.
